At Whole Self Counseling, Jen offers integrative, compassionate, trauma-informed individual therapy for adults residing in Massachusetts, in addition to clinical supervision and consultation, training, and other services. Jen has been in clinical practice since 2014 and has experience working with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, substance use and addiction, ADHD and other neurodivergent (ND) identities, chronic illness/pain, body image, relationship issues, and gender, racial, and other forms of identity exploration.
Jen is a white, queer, neurodivergent (ND) femme who strives to practice from an inclusive, anti-oppression, trauma-informed lens. She works to create an open and collaborative therapeutic relationship to meet her clients where they are, operating from a place of curiosity and cultural humility.
Jen believes:
-that Black Lives Matter
-clients are the experts on their own experiences
-in supporting and centering the voices of survivors of trauma, marginalization, and oppression
-effective therapy is about healing, liberation, and is inherently connected to social, racial, and economic justice.
